Serving Spokane for over 100 years
As a charter member of the IAFF, Local 29 was formed on February 28, 1918. A charter membership in the Washington State Council of Firefighters in 1939 further adds to our historic legacy. L29 comprises three bargaining units: Spokane Firefighters; Spokane Association of Fire Officers; and Spokane International Airport. We proudly represent over 340 members with 4 principal officers; 5 executive board members; and 3 bargaining unit vice presidents.
