I’ve been in the fire service since 2005, starting out as a volunteer in Skagit County, and over the years I’ve served as a Firefighter, EMT, Lieutenant, Driver, Training Officer, and ARFF. I started my professional fire service career at the Boeing Fire Department, and recently lateraled to the Spokane Airport Fire Department. Along the way I’ve picked up training in everything from Hazmat to Wildland Firefighting, taught at the recruit academy, and even pushed myself through the Scott Firefighter Stair Climb a few times. Outside the firehouse I enjoy spending time with family and friends, boating and skiing. But more than anything, I’m proud to be a husband and a dad to two amazing kids, who are my biggest motivation and remind me every day why the work we do matters.
